[FLNK MAGAZINE] AB6IX Backstage INTERVIEW
After the FLNK fansign event, FLNK Magazine asked AB6IX about ABNEW in the empty seats where ABNEW was sitting. Here is their interview about themselves and ABNEW.
Interview with WOONG
Q. At fansign events, fans often ask you many questions. Conversely, do you have any questions for ABNEW?
Specifically, we would like to know what concept they would like to see in the next album and which song of our track gave comfortness to them.
Q. Please share three strengths of ABNEW!
They express love lavishly, they are witty, and they give us nice words a lot.
Q. How do you spend your free time?
Lately, I've been sleeping a lot. I try to relax by sleeping or playing games.
Q. What inspires you to write lyrics? Could you also introduce a song you've written?
I naturally draw inspiration from everyday experiences or something I've read that resonated with me. When I feel anxious and go through a tough time, I wrote the song <HEAVEN>, comparing the love and comfort I received from ABNEW to paradise. It's a song filled with gratitude.
Q. In your 5-year journey, have you ever felt a moment of personal growth?
I feel I've grown up when I express my thoughts honestly in front of cameras.

Q. At fansign events, fans often ask you many questions. Conversely, do you have any questions for ABNEW?
I'm curious about when we cross their minds the most.
Q. Please share three strengths of ABNEW!
They always support me, are incredibly kind, and everyone is so good at making .
Q. How do you spend your free time?
I write songs and exercise, and I also enjoy watching dramas and movies.
Q. What inspires you to write lyrics? Could you also introduce a song you've written?
I’m searching for inspiration and topics in daily life which is ordinary and also extraordinary. The song <ILY (I LOVE YOU)> was inspired during the casual live streaming with fans.
Q. In your 5-year journey, have you ever felt a moment of personal growth?
When I feel relaxed on the stage.

Q. At fansign events, fans often ask you many questions. Conversely, do you have any questions for ABNEW?
I wonder the biggest reason why they love and support us so much.
Q. Please share three strengths of ABNEW!
They always take care of us more than anyone else, constantly smile, give us comfort and support, and they are adorable.
Q. How do you spend your free time?
I spend time bowling, playing games, and watching dramas.
Q. What inspires you to write lyrics? Could you also introduce a song you've written?
I think I’m inspired by things that everyone experiences, not only I do. I try to write stories that many people can relate to. There's a song called <나를 그리다 (Self-Portrait)>, and I wrote the lyrics based on what I wrote when I was having a hard time. Even though everyone's situation is different, since everyone goes through tough times, I wanted to share and empathize with those feelings.
Q. In your 5-year journey, have you ever felt a moment of personal growth?
My mindset has changed a bit, and I believe I've grown up a lot on the stage.

Q. At fansign events, fans often ask you many questions. Conversely, do you have any questions for ABNEW?
Many people come to meet us without having a meal. I'm always curious even if our fans have eaten anything.
Q. Please share three strengths of ABNEW!
They love us immensely. They do what they say. The relationship between fans and artists is remarkably close.
Q. How do you spend your free time?
I usually rest at home. Since our recent activities have just ended, I'm recharging my energy at home.
Q. What inspires you to write lyrics? Could you also introduce a song you've written?
I typically get inspired by everyday conversations with friends. To come up with more diverse topics, I also tend to engage in a lot of imagination. When writing <룰루랄라 (LULULALA)>, I imagined the joyful moments of having a good time with friends.
Q. In your 5-year journey, have you ever felt a moment of personal growth?
As I’m getting old, I'm making an effort to broaden my perspective. I think I've improved in that aspect.
Q. FLNK combines FAN and LINK, and it’s a platform that connects fans and artists. How would AB6IX like to connect with fans in the future?
[DONG HYUN] I want a gentle, yet firm connection. I aim to perform wonderfully as a singer while maintaining a friendship-like relationship.
[DAE HWI] I want to convey my feelings through music so that fans can indirectly experience the same emotions as I do.
