[FLNK MAGAZINE] BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW WITH 브브걸 (BBGIRLS)
With a new name, 브브걸 (BBGIRLS) is back on stage ONE MORE TIME. Their journey is about to begin with their eyes shining in the face of numerous challenges.
How did you find FLNK fansign event and video call event? The fans must have enjoyed it because you surprised them with a live performance of <Lemonade> at the venue.
MINYOUNG We’ve met fans at fan sign and video call event after a long time. It was lovely and fun.
EUNJI It was so good. It's always exciting to meet fans!
All the members got back together and started over as 브브걸 (BBGIRLS). I'd love to hear your thoughts on that.
MINYOUNG Everyday is exciting and enjoyable. It is meaningful to make a new beginning in a new place. In fact, it’s our first time debuting together with this set of members, so it truly feels like a real beginning. We're eager to embrace various challenges as 브브걸 (BBGIRLS), not only in our music but also through our diverse activities.
YOUJOUNG As we start anew filled with gratitude and a feeling of excitement, we want to do better.
EUNJI We're so happy to be back together and to be able to share the stage with all four of us. Please wish us well in our new endeavours.
YUNA It's great to show our fans our whole selves again, and we're grateful to be able to do more fun things with each other and our fans in the future.
You've always been team players on stage and off. Is there a secret to that?
YOUJOUNG I think there are two things: accepting and understanding who they are and not doing what they don't like.
YUNA The biggest secret is that we know each other well.
The members chose the title track this time and participated in the entire production, including choreography and stage arrangements. Was there anything you paid special attention to while getting ready?
MINYOUNG The primary purpose, I believe, was to present a new appearance because it’s our new beginning. So we paid special attention to the visuals. We wanted to offer something a bit different in the styling and overall. It was a little rushed because we couldn't wait to meet the fans quickly, but it was pretty enjoyable.
YUNA We were involved in almost every aspect of the process for the first time, and the company was very receptive to our suggestions. We were most concerned with our styling as we wanted to show 브브걸 (BBGIRLS) in a different mood than before.
Maybe thanks to that, everyone is saying your hair, make-up, and outfits were perfect for this activity. Let us know if you have a personal favourite.
YOUJOUNG I love the white outfit. It makes my face look bright and good with any hairstyle.
EUNJI Oh, my outfit that I wore on M COUNTDOWN, our first show! My hair and make-up matched the outfit. I often wore a ponytail during this activity, and it worked well with the outfits.
As 브브걸 (BBGIRLS), what would you like to take on in the future?
MINYOUNG It's just the beginning, and I'm ready to take on new challenges in various areas. I aim to work non-stop to get closer to my fans and the public.
YOUJOUNG I want to meet overseas fans and do concerts, and I'd like to challenge myself more in my activities.
EUNJI I want to challenge myself to go abroad for a performance!
YUNA We still have a lot of things we haven't done and a lot of things we need to do, so it's hard to pinpoint one thing, but I'd love to do a concert once we have a bit more of a color.
FLNK(플링크) combines FAN and LINK and aims to be a platform that connects fans and artists. How do you want to connect to your fans in the future?
YOUJOUNG I always want to be with my fans and close to them.
YUNA I want a relationship where we don't have to talk, but we can look at each other and know what's on each other's minds.
